Hurrah! I found a precious little camera with lots of gadgety things that offers new hope for my photography habit!! Its a Canon Powershot A630, and although its not a frou-frou camera, it will certainly do the job!! Cameras are merely tools for this hobby anyways, its the mind's eye that holds all the creativity!! I humbly submit my first pic with this camera called "Golden Boy". It almost seems like someone dabbed the sun with a brush and stroked and dappled his beautiful shell and skin.
I am also planning a trip back home to Canada with my new trusted friend, Mr Canon. Im very optimistic that I will find many things to click, click away at! Im sooo excited!
Im not sure why home always inspires my creativity so much more that NC. Maybe its the familiarity of it all, maybe its being away and coming back to see it all through fresh eyes, I dont know but I have many ideas brewing and stewing in my head!!
I think I promised a pic of my blooming magnolia this spring. So sorry to disappoint but I used a basic camera which really couldnt zoom in the way I like to, so it offered up a very dull and uninspiring image. Maybe next time. I dont want to post it for the sake of posting. Whats the point of that?
